Story | Merciless People
Num mundo onde a compaixão é frequentemente proclamada, mas raramente praticada, duas histórias desafiam nossa percepção de misericórdia e julgamento. A primeira narra o luto de uma viúva, cujo marido é julgado pelos convidados de seu próprio funeral por uma escolha de vestimenta pós-morte, revelando uma verdade tocante sobre suas últimas vontades. A segunda, uma lição de humildade e preconceito, segue Benedita Fernandes, uma dedicada trabalhadora social, em um encontro com damas da alta sociedade, onde sua aparência é motivo de escárnio, até que uma revelação surpreendente muda todas as perspectivas. Essas histórias nos convidam a refletir: Somos realmente tão compassivos quanto pensamos? Ou nossos julgamentos precipitados revelam uma falta de verdadeira misericórdia?
